Ivory Coast defender Wonlo Coulibaly leaves Al-Nasiriyah FC

Ivory Coast left-back Wonlo Coulibaly has left Al-Nasiriyah FC and is now without a club after ending his latest spell in Iraq.

Coulibaly, 34, departed Al-Nasiriyah on 3 August 2026. No transfer fee was recorded for the move, and he has not been registered with another club.

The defender joined Al-Nasiriyah from fellow Iraqi side Duhok SC on 2 October 2024. His time in Iraq followed a move from Ivorian club ASEC Mimosas, where he had two spells during his career.

Coulibaly began his senior club career with AS Denguele before moving to AS Tanda in 2015. He joined ASEC Mimosas in 2017 and later spent time at TP Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Al-Suwaiq in Oman and Duhok SC.

He returned to ASEC Mimosas in January 2022 after a period without a club, having previously left TP Mazembe in September 2021. His career has also included experience in continental competition, with 27 appearances, one goal and one assist in the CAF Champions League, as well as 20 appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup.

A left-footed defender who stands 1.79m tall, Coulibaly has played primarily at left-back. His departure from Al-Nasiriyah leaves him unattached after less than two years with the Iraqi club.

Coulibaly’s latest club change was completed on 3 August 2026, when he left Al-Nasiriyah FC and became without a club.
