Ivorian attacker, Elye Wahi is set to undergo a mandatory medical examination ahead of his anticipated move to German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
As reported by Africasoccer.com last week, the forward will become the replacement of Egyptian star Omar Marmoush following his move to Manchester City.
Today, sources have revealed that Elye Wahi will join Eintracht Frankfurt with immediate effect.
Frankfurt have already agreed a transfer fee of around €20-21m guaranteed + €5m possible add-ons with Olympique Marseille to ensure the deal happens.
It is understood that Elye Wahi will sign a five-year contract before an official announcement is made.
The Ivorian attacker is now expected to travel to Germany on Friday, January 24, to undergo his medicals.
He is upbeat and eager to complete the move having been convinced by the project presented by Eintracht Frankfurt.
