Hundreds of Ivorian fans in the city of San Pedro are gearing up to support the Moroccan national team from the stands as they face Zambia in the third round of the African Cup of Nations group stage on Wednesday, kicking off at 9:00 PM.
“Hesport” observed the presence of a significant number of Ivorian fans at the media delegation’s location, where Moroccan national team jerseys were distributed to them, adorned with the map of Morocco, in preparation for supporting the national team.
Ivorian fans have chosen to intensify their support for the Moroccan team compared to the matches against Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
A victory for “The Lions” against Zambia today would qualify the Ivorian national team for the AFCON Round of 16.
Moroccan events organizers arranged a communal breakfast today for both Moroccan and Ivorian fans as a gesture of Moroccan hospitality on the Ivory Coast, just hours before the match kicks off.
