Ivorian defender Wilfried Singo attracts interest from four Premier League clubs

Wilfried Singo’s impressive form at Galatasaray has sparked interest from several Premier League clubs, with Liverpool, Everton, Bournemouth, and Brighton all reportedly monitoring the Ivorian defender.

The 24-year-old right-back, who joined the Turkish champions from AS Monaco earlier this year, has quickly become an integral part of Okan Buruk’s side.

Since his arrival, Singo has adjusted seamlessly to life in the Süper Lig, delivering consistent performances marked by strength, pace, and tactical maturity.

According to Turkish journalist Eralp Tanyürek, scouts from England have been keeping a close eye on the Ivory Coast international, whose displays in domestic and European competition have made him one of Galatasaray’s standout performers this season.

Singo is under contract with the Istanbul club until June 2030 and is currently valued at €28 million by Transfermarkt.

His long-term deal means Galatasaray are under no pressure to sell, but growing interest from the Premier League could soon test their resolve, especially as English clubs weigh their options ahead of the January transfer window.

Former Ivory Coast international N’Dri Koffi “Romaric” believes Singo is now in a strong position to choose the next step in his career.

Singo will have the choice, he said, noting that the full-back’s rapid development in Turkey and previous experience in Ligue 1 make him well-equipped to adapt to the demands of English football.

Singo’s rise has been one of the success stories of the season for Galatasaray, where he has established himself as a key figure in both defensive solidity and attacking transitions.

His physical attributes and versatility — able to play as a traditional right-back or in a more advanced wing-back role — have made him an invaluable asset to Buruk’s tactical setup.

As speculation over his future intensifies, Galatasaray remain focused on their domestic campaign.

The Istanbul giants are preparing for their upcoming Turkish Super Lig fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir, where they hope to maintain their strong start to the season.

For now, Singo’s attention is firmly on continuing his fine form in Turkey, but with Premier League interest mounting, the coming months could prove decisive for one of Africa’s most promising defenders.
