Ivorian defender Sylla Mohamed joins Spanish outfit Real Valladolid
Ivory Coast international Sylla Mohamed has completed a transfer from SOL FC, who compete in Ivory Coast’s Ligue 1, to Spanish side Real Valladolid, marking a major step in his career.
The move, which marks his first experience in European football, was officially confirmed by his former club, who expressed pride in seeing one of their prospects earn an opportunity abroad.
In a statement announcing the deal, SOL FC paid tribute to the defender’s development and wished him well in his next adventure. “Congratulations to our young centre-back Sylla Mohamed on his transfer to Real Valladolid. SOL FC is proud to see one of its talents shine on the international stage. We wish him every success in his new challenge,” the club said.
For Sylla Mohamed, the switch to Valladolid represents a significant milestone and a chance to test himself in a highly competitive environment. Upon his arrival in Spain, the Ivorian is expected to begin his journey with Real Valladolid’s reserve team, where he will adapt to the demands of Spanish football and continue his development.
The long-term plan, however, is clear. Club officials view the defender as a player with strong potential, and he is set to be gradually integrated into the first-team setup once he has settled in and impressed at reserve level.
As he leaves Ivory Coast for Europe, Sylla Mohamed carries with him the hopes of his former club and a fresh opportunity to make his mark on the Spanish football scene.
