Christ Kouadio has completed a move to the Serbian Super Liga, ending a four-year spell in Romanian football to begin a new chapter of his career in Serbia.
The Ivorian right-back, full name Christ Sarkodjé Manca Kouadio, confirmed his transfer on social media after joining Radnik Surdulica from FC Metaloglobus Bucharest during the winter transfer window.
He arrives midway through the 2025/26 season as Radnik seek to reinforce their defence, with the club currently placed eighth in Serbia’s top division.
Reports from Africafoot indicate that the 25-year-old is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Serbian side.
Transfermarkt has listed the transfer fee at €30,000, while valuing the player at €350,000, underlining Radnik’s view that they are securing an experienced option at a relatively modest cost.
The move represents another step forward in a career that has already taken Kouadio across several European leagues.
Before establishing himself in Romania with spells at Poli Iași and Metaloglobus Bucharest, the defender gained experience in Italy, playing for Lanusei, Cagliari, Torino and Savoia.
He has also featured in Finland with Kokkolan, adding further variety to his football education.
By switching to Serbia, Kouadio is set to test himself in a new environment and a league he has not previously experienced.
The transfer reflects his continued ambition to progress and adapt, as he looks to make an impact quickly and secure a regular place in his new team.
Radnik Surdulica will soon return to league action with a challenging fixture against Partizan Belgrade in their 22nd match of the Serbian Super Liga season.
The betting company 1xbet offers odds of 3.12 for a Radnik Surdulica victory, 1.80 for a draw and 1.21 for a Partizan Belgrade win.
For Kouadio, the timing of the move offers an immediate opportunity to prove his value, with high-profile opposition awaiting.
As Radnik look to consolidate their position in the league table, the club will hope their latest signing can bring defensive stability and experience during the decisive second half of the campaign.
