Since the end of the last season, the management of Ittihad Touarga has been actively addressing various critical issues, particularly those related to the team’s composition and the futures of several players.
Some players, like Ayman Dhirani, have chosen to leave, while others, such as goalkeeper Abdelrahman El Houssaïni, have decided to stay following the conclusion of their contracts.
The upcoming season promises to be exceptional for Ittihad Touarga as the team will represent Moroccan football in the CAF Confederation Cup.
This significant responsibility has prompted the club to begin its preparations early, both administratively and in terms of squad development.
“We are committed to strengthening our team to face the challenges of the next season,” said a club spokesperson.
“The extensions of Zemrat, El Haddad, and Mourid are just the beginning of our efforts to ensure we are competitive both domestically and on the African stage.”
With these strategic contract extensions, Ittihad Touarga aims to maintain stability within the squad while continuing to build a team capable of competing at the highest levels.
The management is expected to make further moves in the transfer market as they prepare for the dual challenge of competing in the Moroccan league and the continental tournament.
