Ittihad Tanger has officially announced its planned return to the Grand Stadium of Tangier as part of ongoing preparations ahead of the resumption of official fixtures, with a friendly match against Kawkab Marrakech scheduled as a transitional step.
In a statement, the club explained that the initiative forms part of a gradual process towards a full return to the stadium, pending the completion of all organisational and security arrangements linked to its official reopening.
Ittihad Tanger added that the relevant provincial authorities will determine the seating capacity for the friendly and will be communicated once final approval is granted in the coming hours.
The club noted that the match will serve as a test of logistical operations, including entry and exit routes and the management of internal spaces.
It will also allow for the careful implementation of approved security and organisational measures, carried out in close coordination with local authorities and security services, to ensure fan safety and the smooth staging of the encounter.
Ittihad Tanger also expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by its supporters throughout the process.
The club urged fans to comply with official instructions and confirmed that ticket sales will be conducted exclusively through the approved electronic ticketing platform, with further details to be announced once the final decision is confirmed.
