‘It’s over’ – Lamine Yamal confirms breakup with Argentine girlfriend Nicki Nicole

Spanish forward of Moroccan descent, Lamine Yamal, has confirmed the end of his relationship with Argentine rapper Nicki Nicole.

This confirmation officially puts to rest weeks of speculation surrounding the young couple.

The teenage sensation, regarded as one of football’s brightest prospects, addressed the rumours in an interview with journalist Javi Hoyos, revealing that the relationship had ended but denying reports of a bitter split.

“We are not together anymore,” Yamal said. “It was not because of any infidelity.”

Rumours of tension surfaced following Yamal’s recent trip to Italy, with social media buzzing over alleged issues of unfaithfulness. The Spanish international, however, dismissed the speculation, insisting that the separation was mutual and peaceful.

“We have simply parted ways and that’s it,” he explained. “Everything that is coming out has nothing to do with us. I’ve not been unfaithful or got with someone else.”

Yamal and Nicole’s romance, which lasted less than a year, had been a favourite topic among fans, with the rapper frequently seen supporting him at Barcelona matches. She was often spotted interacting with manager Hansi Flick and injured stars like Raphinha and Dani Olmo during games.

Neither Yamal nor Nicole has shared further details about their split, though sources close to the pair suggest the breakup was amicable.
