Saphir Taïder’s Transfer Stalemate: Inter Milan Holds Firm Despite Interest from Watford and Serie A Clubs
Saphir Taïder’s future at Inter Milan remains uncertain as the Algerian midfielder continues to attract interest from several clubs, including Watford, Udinese, and Sassuolo. However, a move has yet to materialize due to the high asking price set by the Italian club, with Inter demanding between €6-7 million for the 24-year-old player. While Watford and the two Serie A sides feel that this price is too steep, Inter Milan is steadfast in its valuation and has no intention of letting Taïder go on the cheap.
The midfielder, who is not part of Roberto Mancini’s plans for the upcoming season, has joined his teammates for pre-season training in Beijing. However, he arrived five days late due to a visa issue, as reported by the Italian press.
Despite the ongoing transfer talks, Taïder remains under contract with Inter and is preparing for the new season, although it remains to be seen whether he will secure a move before the transfer window closes.
