Italy-Ghana winger Patrick Nuamah completes CE Sabadell loan move from Sassuolo
Italy and Ghana winger Patrick Nuamah has joined CE Sabadell from Sassuolo on loan, completing a move to the Spanish second tier until 30 June 2027.
The 20-year-old left winger switches from Serie A club Sassuolo to Sabadell, who compete in LaLiga2. The move was completed on 28 August 2026, with Nuamah returning to Sassuolo at the end of the loan.
Nuamah is a right-footed wide attacker born in Brescia, Italy, and stands 1.79m tall. He has represented both Italian and Ghanaian football backgrounds through his nationalities, while his club career began in the Brescia youth system.
His move to Sabadell follows a season in which he spent time on loan at Catanzaro. Nuamah joined the Serie B club from Sassuolo on 19 July 2025 before returning to Sassuolo at the end of June 2026.
Sassuolo had originally signed Nuamah from Brescia on a free transfer in July 2025. Before that switch, he progressed through Brescia’s youth structure, moving from the club’s youth side to Brescia Under-17s in 2021 and then into the senior setup in 2022.
At Sassuolo, Nuamah was registered in a squad competing in Italy’s top flight. His move to Sabadell gives him a new club in Spain and places him in the LaLiga2 competition for the 2026-27 campaign.
Nuamah’s current market value is listed at €1.6m, matching the figure recorded when he returned to Sassuolo from Catanzaro. His transfer history also shows a previous loan move to Catanzaro and the free transfer that took him from Brescia to Sassuolo.
Sabadell have now secured the services of the young winger for the season ahead, with the agreement taking him through to the end of June 2027. Patrick Nuamah has completed his loan transfer from Sassuolo to CE Sabadell.
