Italy beat Morocco in U-17 Women’s World Cup group stage

Morocco’s U-17 women’s national team faced their second loss in the group stage of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, falling 3-1 to Italy at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.

Italy struck early, with Giulia Galli opening the scoring in the fifth minute and doubling her tally in the thirteenth. Rachel Giudici added a third for the Italians, who dominated much of the first half and stifled Morocco’s attack.

Despite the early setbacks, the young Lionesses did not give up.
