Tottenham Hotspur full-back Destiny Udogie has dismissed the notion of squad rotation, asserting that each fixture holds significant value as the club navigates a demanding schedule.
Spurs face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday, followed by the second leg of their UEFA Europa League quarterfinal against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Born in Verona, Italy, to Nigerian parents, Udogie has emerged as a key figure in Tottenham’s lineup this season.
The 22-year-old has made 30 appearances across all competitions, including 23 in the Premier League and four in the Europa League.
Addressing the team’s current situation, Udogie stated, “No, I think every game is important. Now we have a league match coming and we need to be ready for that game. Then after that we’ll look towards next week’s match.
“Obviously we are not in a good position and every game is important for us to go up a little bit in the table so we really want to win.”
Tottenham’s season has been marred by inconsistency, with the team currently positioned in the lower half of the Premier League standings.
