Italian giants AS Roma express strong interest in Mali star Yves Bissouma
Italian giants AS Roma have expressed firm interest to sign Mali international midfielder Yves Bissouma in the current summer transfer window.
The Rome-based outfit are strengthening their team for the 2025/26 campaign, which kick start next weekend, with Bissouma, who is in the books of Tottenham Hotspur emerging as a priority target.
Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini is a huge admirer of the Mali international and is eager to secure his signature. The former Atalanta tactician see Bissouma as a perfect player to solidify the midfield of Roma heading into the new campaign.
Currently, talks are ongoing between both parties over a potential transfer of the 28-year-old midfielder.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are hoping to sell the midfielder for not less than £20 million, and negotiations between the clubs are at an advanced stage.
In the 2024/25 season, Bissouma made 44 appearances for Tottenham (totaling 2,500 minutes), scoring two goals and picking up 12 yellow cards. T
The 28-year-old experienced midfielder has been in the books of Tottenham since 2022, with his current contract expected to elapse in summer 2026.
