AC Milan have completed the acquisition of France international DR Congo descent Christopher Nkunku in the current summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old attacker joins the Rossoneri on a permanent deal worth €37 million plus €5 million in bonuses from Premier League giants Chelsea, having struggled to cement a place in the team following his arrival at the club back in 2023.
Nkunku penned a five-year deal, keeping him at AC Milan until summer 2030. With his worth of experience in Germany and England, the forward is expected to play a huge role for the Italian, who are keen on making impact this season.
The former RB Leipzig marksman has been handed with the number 18 jersey at AC Milan following the completion of his move.
Nkunku arrived at Chelsea injured, undermining his spell at the London-based club. The arrival of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap in the current window worsen the situation for the forward, prompting a swift departure.
In 62 appearances for Chelsea, Nkunku netted 18 goals, helping the club claim the UEFA Conference League title and triumph at the FIFA Club World Cup.
