Issiaka Kamate: Padova linked with move for Inter U23 midfielder in potential Serie B step-up
France and Ivory Coast midfielder Issiaka Kamate, currently with Inter U23, has been linked with a move to Serie B side Padova.
Kamate, 21, is valued at 1.5m and has seen his stock rise over the past three seasons, with successive increases in his market value recorded since 2023. A switch to Padova would represent a move up from Serie C and a chance to establish himself at senior level in Italys second tier.
The left-footed central midfielder returned to Inters structure this summer following a loan spell at Modena, having also spent time on loan at Portuguese side Avs Futebol during the 2024-25 campaign. His most recent valuation was updated in June 2026 after a season with Inter U23.
Standing at 1.86m, Kamate has progressed through Inters youth ranks since arriving from French side FC Montfermeil U17 in 2020, moving from the under-17s to the under-18s, then Primavera and into the senior and U23 set-up. He has worn the No 10 shirt for Inter U23, underlining the responsibility he has been given in midfield.
Kamate was born in Aulnay-sous-Bois on 2 August 2004 and holds both French and Ivorian nationality, offering Padova the possibility of adding a young, physically imposing midfielder with experience in Italy and Portugal if a deal can be agreed.
Talks between the clubs have not been disclosed, and the rumour remains at an early stage, with Kamate currently under contract at Inter U23.
