Issiaga Sylla Eyes Move from Toulouse, Angers Leading Interest
Having seen limited playing time this season under coaches Alain Casanova and Dominique Arribagé, Guinean left-back Issiaga Sylla is expected to leave Toulouse FC during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The defender is attracting attention mainly from clubs newly promoted to Ligue 1, with Angers SCO reportedly making Sylla a primary target for reinforcement in the left-back position.
Earlier this year, FC Nantes showed interest following Sylla’s strong 2013-2014 campaign, where he featured in 32 Ligue 1 matches and scored three goals for Toulouse. In addition, Karlsruhe in Germany’s 2. Bundesliga has also expressed interest, considering a loan deal potentially followed by a permanent transfer.
Sylla’s experience in France’s top tier and versatility make him a valuable asset for teams aiming to solidify their defense in Ligue 1 next season.
