Tunisian Striker Issam Jemaa Parts Ways with Al Kuwait
Issam Jemaa’s time at Al Kuwait has officially come to an end after two years with the club. The Tunisian international has been informed by the Kuwaiti side’s management that he is no longer part of their plans for the upcoming season.
The announcement was made via the club’s official website, with team manager Adel Okla confirming the decision to part ways with the 30-year-old striker.
Jemaa joined Al Kuwait in the summer of 2012 and played a key role over two seasons. He helped the team to a strong league performance, although they finished second in the most recent campaign behind champions Al Qadsia.
A seasoned forward, Jemaa previously played in France with RC Lens from 2005 to 2011, and later had spells at Brest and Auxerre. His experience and goal-scoring ability have made him a prominent figure for both club and country.
It remains to be seen where Jemaa will head next, but his departure signals the beginning of a reshuffle at Al Kuwait as they prepare for a new chapter.
