Ismaily SC is pushing ahead with determined steps to end the FIFA-imposed suspension on registering new players, a situation that has tested the patience of fans and strained the club’s operations.
A source within the Ismaily SC board of directors, headed by Nasr Abu Al-Hassan, told Kooora, “We are anticipating a resolution to the registration suspension crisis next January, following a well-thought-out plan implemented by the council over the past few months.”
The source revealed that financial measures are nearly in place. “We have requested a bank loan, and the procedures are nearing completion, which will resolve the registration suspension crisis,” he said.
Work behind the scenes has also extended to team structure. “We have reorganized the football sector and have a clear plan with well-thought-out contracts after the appointment of Algerian coach Miloud Hamdi. The future will be better for the Dervishes,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Ismaily Council has called for an emergency General Assembly meeting tomorrow to vote on withdrawing confidence from the current board. If passed, the club will be run by a temporary management committee.
