Ismaily SC’s leadership has been shaken by the official resignation of two key board members, creating fresh uncertainty at a time when the club is seeking solutions to off-field issues.
The club, led by Nasr Abu Al-Hassan, received official notices from Mohsen Abdel-Masih and Mohamed Gamal, both of whom stepped down from their positions on the Board of Directors. The resignations have been forwarded to the administrative body for processing.
Despite this, the rest of the board has opted against a collective resignation, choosing instead to focus on stabilizing the club’s operations, especially as it continues to deal with lingering effects of a registration ban from the previous season, caused by unpaid dues to players.
To fill the vacant seats, the Council has scheduled nomination openings from July 7 for a week. A General Assembly will be held on August 23 to oversee the elections.
The changes come as Ismaily SC works to rebuild its administrative structure and regain full operational footing after recent financial and regulatory challenges.
