Ismaily SC is facing a tough summer after a mass departure of key players rocked the club.
The club, already dealing with a serious financial crisis and a transfer registration ban, are now losing several first-team stars who have decided not to renew their contracts.
Veteran midfielder and team captain Imad Hamdi announced his departure via Facebook, thanking fans for their unwavering support during his time at the club.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Bayoumi has agreed to join National Bank after his contract expires, declining to extend his stay with Ismaily. Fellow midfielder Hisham Mohamed has already signed with Wadi Degla, marking another confirmed exit.
Defender Mohamed Nasr has also opted to leave, choosing not to renew after being linked to various clubs in the Egyptian league. In addition, Burkinabe winger Eric Traore is set to part ways with the club, refusing to sign a new deal.
Adding to the turmoil, head coach Tamer Mustafa has threatened to quit over the ongoing problems, leaving Ismaily in urgent need of stability and leadership.
