The Ismaily club is basking in the glow of their recent victory over Modern Future, which saw “El Daraweesh” triumph 1-0 in the 27th round of the league.
Marwan Hamdi scored the decisive goal, helping the team distance itself from the relegation zone that had loomed ominously since the season’s start.
This crucial win elevates Ismaily to 31 points, securing the 12th position in the league standings. Meanwhile, Modern Future remains at 38 points, positioned seventh on the table.
In response to this significant win, the Ismaily management has announced special bonuses for the players, in addition to the regular rewards stipulated by the club’s regulations.
This gesture aims to motivate the team to maintain their winning streak in the upcoming matches of the league.
Looking ahead, Ismaily is gearing up to face Al Masry in the league. The match is scheduled for Thursday at 7:00 PM, to be held at the Army Stadium in Borg El Arab.
However, the team is facing a challenge with the injury of their primary goalkeeper, Mohamed Fawzy, who sustained a groin injury during the match against Modern Future.
The club’s medical team is set to conduct a final medical examination to determine Fawzy’s fitness ahead of the crucial game against Al Masry.
