Ismailia Electricity name squad for Al Ahly Bank clash as suspended Abdel Naim misses out

Ismailia Electricity technical director Reda Shehata has announced his squad for Tuesday evening’s league relegation group clash against Al Ahly Bank.

The seventh-round encounter is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m.

The squad will be without Islam Abdel Naim, who is serving a five-match suspension handed down by the competition committee following his protest against the referee during the draw with Petrojet.

In a bid to inspire the team ahead of the fixture, the club’s management has reportedly promised special bonuses if the players secure a victory over Al Ahly Bank.

Ismailia Electricity head into the match on the back of a 2-1 victory over Tala’ea El-Gaish in their previous outing.

That result lifted the club to 23 points and 11th place in the relegation group standings.
