Ismaila Sarr: Crystal Palace and Senegal winger linked with Fenerbahce move
Ismaila Sarr, the Senegal international forward at Crystal Palace, is being linked with a summer move to Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce. The Istanbul club are exploring a deal for the 28-year-old right winger as they look to add proven European experience to their attacking options.
Sarr is under contract at Selhurst Park until 30 June 2029 and is valued at around €45m, meaning any agreement would require a substantial fee and the approval of Palace’s hierarchy. He joined the Premier League club from Marseille on 1 August 2024 for €15m and has since become a key figure in an increasingly ambitious side.
The winger’s stock has risen sharply over the past year. He finished as top scorer in the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League with nine goals, helping Palace lift the trophy, and also played a central role in the club’s FA Cup triumph in 2025. For Senegal, he has maintained his status as a decisive performer, scoring four goals and providing two assists in four appearances at the 2026 World Cup.
Across his time in England and France he has built an extensive top-flight record, with more than 110 Premier League appearances and over 100 in Ligue 1. That level of experience, combined with his recent form in European competition, has made him an attractive target for Fenerbahce as they assess options ahead of the new campaign.
For now, Palace retain a strong negotiating position thanks to Sarr’s long-term deal and his status as a cornerstone of their attack.
