Ismaila Badje: Gambian winger returns to Ostiamare from Guidonia
Gambian right winger Ismaila Badje has rejoined Italian side Ostiamare from Guidonia, completing another move between the two Serie C clubs. The 25-year-old, who prefers to operate on the right flank of the attack, heads back to the Rome-based side after spending last season with Guidonia.
Badje first moved to Guidonia in July 2025 on a free transfer from Cavese before joining Ostiamare on loan a few days later. That temporary spell ended this summer, with the winger returning to Guidonia at the end of the loan, but Ostiamare have now moved to bring him back once again. The latest deal takes place with his market value currently listed at €100,000.
Standing at 1.86m and right-footed, Badje has built up extensive experience in Italy’s lower leagues, featuring both in Serie C and across several Serie D groups. Across those competitions he has combined regular game time with a steady contribution of goals and assists, including productive spells in Serie D where he twice reached at least five league goals in a season.
The Gambia-born attacker previously had stints with Cavese and Lucchese, as well as earlier spells at Sorrento, Brindisi, Savoia and Vigor Perconti as he established himself in Italian football. His performances in Serie D, particularly a nine-goal campaign in one group, helped him secure successive moves up the pyramid.
Badje’s move means he is again registered with Ostiamare ahead of the new campaign, adding depth and experience to the club’s wide attacking options.
