Burkinabè midfielder Ismahila Ouédraogo has embarked on a new challenge by signing a three-year contract with Atromitos Athens. The transfer marks a significant move for the player, transitioning from Paok Thessaloniki B to join the ranks of Atromitos Athens in Greece.

Ouédraogo’s move was officially announced late Tuesday evening, June 18, 2024, through Atromitos Athens’ social media channels.

The 24-year-old midfielder’s contract includes provisions such as a resale percentage in favor of his former club, Paok Thessaloniki B.

Having spent the previous season with Paok Thessaloniki B, Ouédraogo played a pivotal role in their campaign in the Greek second division.

He featured prominently in 25 matches, including 18 league appearances, showcasing his capabilities and contributing significantly to his team’s performance.

Atromitos Athens, a club that competed for survival in the 2023-24 season, aims to strengthen its squad with Ouédraogo’s addition.

The midfielder’s experience and skill set are expected to bolster their efforts as they strive to achieve competitive success in the upcoming season.

The move to Atromitos Athens represents a return to the elite division for Ouédraogo, who will now face new challenges and opportunities to establish himself in the top tier of Greek football.

His signing underscores Atromitos Athens’ commitment to reinforcing their midfield options and building a competitive team for future campaigns.

As Ouédraogo prepares to integrate into his new club, expectations are high for his performance and contribution to Atromitos Athens’ objectives in the coming seasons.

The midfielder’s ambition to excel at the highest level aligns with Atromitos Athens’ strategic ambitions, aiming to elevate their status and competitiveness within Greek football.

With his signing complete, Ismahila Ouédraogo embarks on an exciting chapter in his career, eager to make a positive impact and carve out a significant role in Atromitos Athens’ plans moving forward.
