Ismael Saibari: Bayern Munich eye €40m-rated PSV and Morocco-Belgium midfielder in high-probability move

Morocco-Belgium attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari of PSV is being strongly linked with a summer switch to Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga club reported to have an 84% chance of landing the 25-year-old.

The PSV No 34, valued at €40.00m on Transfermarkt, has emerged as a leading target as Bayern look to refresh their attacking options. While there is no confirmation of an agreement and no indication yet of a contract expiry in Eindhoven, the scale of the interest has fuelled speculation that Saibari could be prised away or even manoeuvre towards free-agent status in the medium term if talks over new terms do not progress.

Born in Terrassa, Spain, and standing at 1.85m, Saibari offers a blend of physical presence and technical quality as a right-footed attacking midfielder. He holds both Moroccan and Belgian nationality and has built his reputation with PSV in the Eredivisie, where his performances have pushed his market value into the €40m bracket.

Recent displays for PSV have continued to draw scouts’ attention. In his latest outing – a league fixture for the Dutch side in 2026 in which PSV earned points against domestic opposition – Saibari featured in his familiar advanced midfield role, again underlining the versatility and ball-carrying ability that have attracted Bayern’s interest, even if the match did not bring a decisive individual contribution from him.

Saibari’s club career has been forged in Eindhoven’s system, developing into a key figure in PSV’s attacking structure. With no publicly listed contract end date at PSV, the dynamics of any deal remain unclear, but the links to Bayern Munich point to one of the more advanced rumours of this window.

Should the move materialise, a transfer to Bavaria would mark a significant step in Saibari’s career, offering the platform to enhance his reputation at Champions League level and test his potential at the very top of European football.
