Ismael Houmadi: Montlouis sign Comorian-French winger from RC Grasse on free transfer

Montlouis have completed the signing of right winger Ismael Houmadi from RC Grasse on a free transfer. The 22-year-old moves within French football after his switch was finalised on 7 July 2026.

Houmadi, born in Poitiers on 19 July 2003, joins Montlouis as an attacking option on the right flank, where he is primarily deployed. The Comorian-French player is right-footed and adds depth in the wide attacking positions for his new club.

The move marks the latest step in a career that has seen Houmadi progress through several levels of the French game. Before his short spell at RC Grasse, he played for Stade Poitevin FC, returning there in October 2023 after a period without a club earlier that year.

Houmadi previously spent time in the youth and reserve set-up at Stade Lavallois, stepping up from the clubs U19 side to their B team in 2022. Prior to that, he developed at Stade Poitevins youth ranks, moving from their junior sides into the U18 team before heading to Laval.

By securing Houmadi without a transfer fee, Montlouis have added a young, domestically trained wide player with experience across youth, reserve and senior levels in France.
