Ishak Zidani sends message to Raja supporters after completing move

New Raja Casablanca signing Ishak Zidani has expressed his excitement after completing his move to the Botola club, sending a special message to supporters following the announcement of his transfer.

The Moroccan midfielder joined Raja from Renaissance Zemamra during the current summer transfer window as the Casablanca club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.

Shortly after confirming the signing, Raja shared a video on the club’s official social media platforms in which Zidani greeted the Green Eagles’ supporters.

“I’m Ishaq Zidani, the new player of Raja Club Athletic. I’m truly delighted to join you all. Dima Raja.”

Raja continue strengthening squad

Zidani’s arrival forms part of Raja’s ongoing efforts to reinforce the squad before the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

He is the club’s second signing of the transfer window after the arrival of Chemseddine Knaidil, as Raja look to build a squad capable of competing on both the domestic and continental stage.

Preparations resume for new campaign

The Casablanca club resumed pre-season training on Wednesday after players returned from their annual break granted by the technical staff.

Raja will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup this season after finishing third in the Botola standings with 56 points in the previous campaign.

With preparations gathering pace, attention will now turn to integrating the club’s new arrivals as Raja aim to challenge for honours in the 2026-27 season.
