Ahead of a friendly match against Iran during FIFA day, Guinea’s national team, the Sily, is gearing up for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2015. Coach Michel Dussuyer has summoned 22 players, but only 17 have responded thus far.
The team faces notable absences in defense, with Kamil Zayatte, Oumar Kalabane, and Florentin Pogba sidelined due to injuries. Additionally, Sadio Diallo has opted to remain with his club to secure more playing time. Mohamed Diarra and Thierno Bah have also failed to provide reasons for their absence.
In light of these circumstances, Dussuyer faces the challenge of compensating for these absences by calling up local players to bolster the squad.
