After a 22-year hiatus, Ipswich Town, featuring Sam Morsi of Egyptian descent born in England, has secured promotion back to the English Premier League after their relegation to the English Championship two decades ago, following a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool, where Mohamed Salah, currently with Liverpool, found the net.

This afternoon marked a triumphant return for Ipswich Town, led by Sam Morsi, to the English Premier League after defeating Huddersfield Town 2-0 at Portman Road in the 46th and final round of the English Championship, accumulating 96 points to secure second place.
