Inter Milan have opened talks with defender Yann Bisseck over a new long-term deal running until 2031, reflecting the club’s strong faith in his development and importance to Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

According to reports in Italy, Inter have already rejected a 35 million euro bid from a Premier League club and are prepared to reward the 24-year-old with an improved salary package as part of the extension.

Bisseck is currently under contract until 30 June 2029 and is valued at around 35 million euros, underlining how quickly his stock has risen in Serie A.

This season, the German defender has delivered 1 goal and 1 assist in 19 appearances in all competitions, impressing with his versatility, physical presence, and composure on the ball. Yann Aurel Bisseck joined Inter Milan from Aarhus GF on 12 July 2023, signing a permanent contract until 30 June 2028 for a transfer fee of 7.2 million euros.

He made his debut for Inter on 20 August 2023, coming on in the 90th minute of a 2–0 Serie A win over Monza on the opening day of the season. Having turned away major interest and now pushing to secure his future for another five years, Inter are clearly planning to make Bisseck a pillar of their back line for the next decade.
