Inter Milan agree bumper new deal with Yann Bisseck as Nerazzurri secure defensive pillar until 2031

Inter Milan have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Yann Bisseck over a new long-term contract, with the defender set to remain at the club until 2031.

The Germany international has impressed since arriving from Danish side AGF in 2023, quickly developing into one of Serie A’s most reliable centre-backs and an important part of Inter’s defensive structure.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bisseck and the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement in principle over a two-year extension to his current deal. The new contract will also include a significant salary increase as recognition of his growing influence at the club.

Although an official announcement is not expected immediately, formal discussions are scheduled to begin in the coming days before the agreement is finalised.

Inter move to protect rising star after impressive campaign

Bisseck’s rapid progress has convinced Inter’s hierarchy that he remains a key figure in their future plans.

The 25-year-old enjoyed his most productive season yet at San Siro, making 36 appearances across all competitions. His performances were also complemented by his contribution in the final third, with the defender scoring three goals and providing two assists.

His physical presence, composure on the ball and ability to operate in different defensive roles have made him a valuable asset for the Italian giants as they continue to compete at the highest level.

Inter’s decision to extend his contract reflects their desire to secure the services of a player who has grown in importance since his arrival two years ago.

Nerazzurri commit to Bisseck’s long-term future

The proposed 2031 deal underlines Inter’s confidence in Bisseck’s ability to remain a central figure in their defensive plans for years to come.

Having already established himself among Serie A’s top defenders, the former AGF player is now set to receive further backing from the club as they look to maintain stability within their squad.

The agreement will also provide a major boost for Bisseck, who continues to push for a bigger role with both Inter and the German national team.
