Inter midfielder Yanis Massolin linked with Angers return to Ligue 1
France-Algeria midfielder Yanis Massolin is being linked with a move from Inter to Angers SCO, with the Ligue 1 club reportedly interested in the 23-year-old attacking midfielder.
Massolin joined Inter from Modena for €3.5m in February 2026 and has a contract with the Serie A club until 30 June 2030. He returned to Inter at the end of the 2025-26 season after completing his loan spell at Modena.
The France-born player has yet to make an appearance for Inter in Serie A this season. He has been included in the club’s squad but has not started a league match or recorded any minutes in the current campaign.
A move to Angers would represent a return to French football for Massolin, who began his senior career with Moulins-Yzeure before joining Clermont Foot in 2022. He subsequently moved to Belgian side Francs Borains and then Modena before Inter completed his signing.
Massolin’s current market valuation is €4.5m, while no transfer fee has been reported for the potential switch to Angers. The rumour remains unconfirmed, with the midfielder still under contract at Inter and the Italian club yet to announce any agreement.
