France and Côte d’Ivoire centre-back Oumar Solet of Udinese is being linked with a move to Inter Milan, with the Serie A leaders reportedly assessing a deal for the 26-year-old this summer.

Solet, who stands at 1.92m and plays primarily as a right‑footed central defender, is currently valued at €23.00m on Transfermarkt, a figure understood to frame early discussions around any potential transfer. Data from the portal rates the probability of a switch to Inter at 66%, although no agreement is in place and the move remains at the rumour stage.

The former France youth international, born in Melun on 7 February 2000, holds dual nationality with Côte d’Ivoire and has been one of Udinese’s most prominent defensive figures since arriving in Serie A. While the club have not disclosed contract details, publicly available data lists no fixed expiry date, raising the prospect that his status could shift closer to that of a potential free agent if no long-term deal is clarified.

Solet has featured regularly for Udinese in the current campaign. In his latest outing, he lined up in defence against Serie A opposition for Udinese earlier this month, in a match played in early June 2026, with the side involved in a tight scoreline. The centre-back delivered a solid performance, contributing aerially and in one‑v‑one situations, form which has reinforced the growing interest around him.

Having already experienced top-flight football in Italy and previously in other European leagues before his Udinese move, Solet’s profile as a powerful, mobile defender fits the template of recent Inter recruits at the back.

Should Inter decide to formalise their interest and Udinese choose to negotiate, a transfer to San Siro would offer Solet the chance to elevate his reputation further in European competition and could mark the defining step of his career to date.
