Ghana international Tariq Lamptey will not be available for Brighton and Hove Albion’s final Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Seagulls will travel to face Tottenham in the week 38 fixture of the English top-flight without the 24-year-old defender, who is currently an injury.
Lamptey was absent from Brighton and Hove Albion’s squad when his outfit inflicted a 3-2 win over Liverpool in the penultimate Premier League match on Monday.
The Black Stars right-back was forced off with a knee injury in the previous game against Wolves, just weeks after returning from a foot problem.
However, the pacey defender is set to miss his second consecutive match for Brighton, having been ruled out on final Premier League day on Sunday.
With his contract expiring in June and no indication of contract extension, the Ghana international could depart the club at the end of the campaign.
The 24-year-old Ghana defender was limited to only 15 appearances in the Premier League due to persistent injuries, scoring two goals and delivering two assists across the period. Meanwhile, the defender made 20 appearances in all competitions and contributed five goals for the club this season.
