Al Ahly left-back Yahya Attiat Allah is on the verge of rejoining team training, having entered the final phase of his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for several weeks.
A club source confirmed: “Attiat Allah will begin light jogging within the next two days and is expected to return to full group training within a week.”
Fellow left-back Karim El-Dabbas has also made progress in his recovery and has started light jogging around the stadium. He, too, is anticipated to rejoin group sessions in about a week.
Meanwhile, Moroccan defender Achraf Dari is dealing with a more serious hamstring strain. “Dari needs approximately two weeks to recover,” the source added, “but the medical team is working intensively to shorten that period to 10 days due to his key role in the upcoming fixtures.”
In a positive development, right-back Karim Fouad has begun limited participation in team training, albeit without contact. Fouad has been out of action since September after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury that required a lengthy eight-month recovery.
These updates come as Al Ahly prepare to enter a closed training camp in Alexandria ahead of their league coronation group clash with Al Masry, set for today in the fifth round.
