As a result, the goalkeeper’s participation in the upcoming match against Al-Ettifaq remains uncertain, with a final decision expected to depend on his recovery progress in the coming days.
Bounou remains one of the standout figures in the Al-Hilal squad and a key presence between the posts for the Saudi club.
Having made 12 appearances for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, Bounou has six clean sheets and a save percentage of 65.
