South Africa to Honor Senzo Meyiwa in Durban During Sudan Clash
A poignant tribute is set to be paid to Senzo Meyiwa, the late goalkeeper and captain of the South African national team, who was tragically killed last Sunday.
Originally scheduled to be held in Nelspruit, the AFCON qualifier between South Africa and Sudan will now be played in Durban, a city that holds deep significance as Meyiwa’s hometown.
According to Afrik-foot, the South African Football Association (SAFA) made the decision to relocate the match in order to honor Meyiwa’s legacy.
