Ismaila Sarr delivered another impressive performance on Sunday as he scored in Crystal Palace’s entertaining 2-2 draw against Everton in the English Premier League.

The Senegal international was named in the starting lineup for the Round 36 clash at Selhurst Park and once again played a key role for the Eagles with another influential display.

Everton made the brighter start and took the lead in the sixth minute through James Tarkowski. The defender reacted quickest after a corner kick caused confusion inside the box before slotting the ball beyond the goalkeeper to put the visitors ahead.

Crystal Palace responded strongly and found the equaliser in the 34th minute through Sarr. The winger reacted sharply inside the area to fire home a rebound into the right corner after the ball broke kindly for him in the box.

The visitors restored their advantage shortly after the restart thanks to a brilliant solo effort from Beto. The striker dribbled past defenders before producing a low finish into the bottom right corner in the 47th minute.

Palace continued to push for another equaliser and eventually got their reward in the 77th minute when Jean-Philippe Mateta smashed the ball into the roof of the net from inside the box to secure a point for the home side.

Sarr’s latest goal continues his impressive run of form as Crystal Palace battle to finish the season strongly in the Premier League.

He now has 20 goals in all competitions for Crystal Palace this season and has also chipped in with two assists.
