In-demand South African winger Relebohile Mofokeng eyes move to top five European leagues

South African sensation Relebohile Mofokeng is eyeing a move to the top five European leagues despite interest from Israeli clubs.

The 20-year-old attacker has been at the center of intense transfer speculation following an impressive campaign for Orlando Pirates. Meanwhile, his next move remains uncertain.

Mofokeng performed admirably for Orlando Pirates in the recently concluded campaign, scoring five goals and providing eight assists in 26 appearances in the South African top-flight.

His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, courting significant interest across Europe with Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv no exception.

Both clubs held talks with Orlando Pirates, but Mofokeng didn’t even enter negotiations over personal terms and opted against a move to the Israeli Premier League

Meanwhile, Mofokeng is said to be eyeing a move to the top five European leagues in the ongoing transfer window.

Additionally, the talented player can remain in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League until after the Africa Cup of Nations, and only then consider a move elsewhere.
