Saint-Etienne’s goalkeeper, Stéphane Ruffier, was voted the best player of the club for the 2012-2013 season. ASSE Internet users awarded the majority of their votes to Ruffier, who received 30% of the votes, beating Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who received 27%. As a prize, Ruffier received a Forézienne ring made by jewelry designer Philippe Tournaire. While he stated that he won’t wear the ring because he doesn’t usually wear one, he expressed his appreciation for the special trophy and mentioned that he will keep it at home.
