In a match against Burkina Faso, Keshi, wearing a green T-shirt, was asked by the referees to change his tunic to avoid confusion with the opposing team. Consequently, he ended up wearing a CAF (Confederation of African Football) bib to distinguish himself. The Burkina Faso coach, Paul Put, faced a similar situation.
