Iliman Ndiaye secured a place among the Premier League’s Goal of the Month contenders after delivering a brilliant finish in Everton’s match against Sunderland.

The Senegalese forward dazzled with a superb individual effort that left the Black Cats’ defence and goalkeeper helpless.

The Premier League unveiled its shortlist on Thursday, 4 December, and Ndiaye’s name stood out as one of the headline nominations.

His strike highlighted the flair and confidence he has brought to Everton since arriving during the summer transfer window.

The former Sheffield United and Olympique de Marseille forward has become a popular figure among Everton supporters, thanks to a growing influence in Sean Dyche’s attack.

Ndiaye has recorded four goals and one assist in 14 appearances this season, offering both creativity and work rate in the final third.

His nomination places him alongside teammate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who also features on the eight-man shortlist.

The list includes strong competition from across the league, with Amad Diallo, Jérémy Doku, Yeremy Pino, Richarlison, Tyler Adams and Harry Wilson also in contention.

For Ndiaye, the recognition marks another step forward in a season where he continues to adapt to the demands of the Premier League while showcasing the technical quality that made him one of Senegal’s most exciting attacking talents.
