Ilan Kebbal scores first Ligue 1 goal of the season as Paris FC beat Strasbourg

Ilan Kebbal opened his account for the season as Paris FC secured a 2-1 victory over Strasbourg on Saturday.

The Algeria international put Paris FC ahead in the fifth round of Ligue 1, scoring the opening goal after taking advantage of a mistake in the Strasbourg defence.

Kebbal, 28, was played into space following an exchange with Lassine Sinayoko. After a poor pass out from the back by Strasbourg, he found himself in a promising position and calmly lifted the ball over the goalkeeper with a well-executed lob.

It was Kebbal’s first league goal of the campaign and an important contribution as Paris FC held on to claim all three points in a closely contested match.

The goal also gave the right winger an opportunity to make his mark during the early stages of the season.

Kebbal is under contract with Paris FC until June 2028. His current value is estimated at 12 million euros by Transfermarkt.
