It’s not just winning the Ballon d’Or that brings joy! Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the new face of Volvo, reportedly earned over €1 million for starring in an advertisement for the Swedish brand.
Known for his reluctance towards endorsement deals, Ibrahimovic recently appeared in a two-minute short film for Volvo. The commercial, with a distinctly Swedish ambiance, portrays the Paris Saint-Germain striker donning a hunter’s attire in his native country’s forest and also showcasing his role as a devoted husband and father—a side of the Swedish international rarely seen.
Ibrahimovic’s collaboration with Volvo holds significance. According to the Dagens Industri agency, he received a sum slightly exceeding €1 million (between €1.13 and €1.36 million) for his participation in the clip. This additional income supplements the €14 million annual salary earned by the Paris Saint-Germain player.
