Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has shared that he sought the counsel of compatriot Tariq Lamptey before making the decision to join Brighton and Hove Albion. The two players, who spent time together in the Black Stars camp during World Cup qualifiers, discussed the intricacies of the city and the club, providing Osman with valuable insights.

Osman highlighted the significant role Lamptey played in his decision-making process.

In an interview with TV3, Osman expressed his appreciation for Lamptey’s guidance.

“It was cool with him in the Black Stars camp… he has been telling me about the city and the club,” Osman said, emphasizing the impact of Lamptey’s firsthand experiences and advice.

The excitement surrounding Osman’s move to Brighton is further amplified by the prospect of reuniting with Simon Adingra, a former teammate from the Right to Dream Academy.

Adingra, who currently plays for Brighton, has been a source of inspiration and support for Osman.

Reflecting on their shared history, Osman said, “It was only a few years ago when the two boys were walking the streets of the academy as young footballers with big dreams, and now they will be playing together at the same club.”

Osman’s connection with Adingra has been rekindled through regular communication, where Adingra has shared his positive experiences at Brighton.

This connection has not only provided Osman with a sense of familiarity but also a renewed eagerness to join his friend at the club.

“I can’t wait to connect with them at the club and get going,” Osman expressed, underlining his enthusiasm for this new chapter in his career.

The reunion of Osman and Adingra at Brighton is set to be a thrilling experience for both players.

Having shared dreams and aspirations during their formative years at the Right to Dream Academy, their journey now brings them together on a larger stage.

Osman’s move to Brighton, influenced by the advice of Lamptey and the presence of Adingra, marks a significant step in his career.

As he looks forward to contributing to his new team, the support of his fellow Ghanaians will undoubtedly be a cornerstone of his transition and success at the club.

Ibrahim Osman’s transfer to Brighton and Hove Albion is a testament to the power of mentorship and friendship in professional sports.

With the guidance of Tariq Lamptey and the camaraderie of Simon Adingra, Osman is poised to embark on an exciting new phase in his career.

This move not only highlights the strength of Ghanaian football talent but also the importance of support systems within the sporting community.
