Ibrahim Mohamed: SR Colmar sign defensive midfielder on free transfer from Jura Dolois

SR Colmar have signed defensive midfielder Ibrahim Mohamed from Jura Dolois on a free transfer. The 27-year-old moves within the French lower leagues after one season with Jura Dolois, joining his new club on 8 July 2026.

Born in Mamoudzou and holding both French and Comorian nationality, Mohamed adds experience at National 2 and National 3 level to Colmars midfield options. A right-footed holding player standing 1.71m tall, he has accumulated more than 5,400 minutes in National 3 and over 3,500 minutes in National 2 across his senior career, as well as appearances in the Coupe de France.

Mohamed arrived at Jura Dolois in July 2025, also on a free transfer, from FC Gueugnon. Before that, he had spells at Besancon Foot and FC Chamalieres, having progressed from Clermonts youth ranks into their B team in 2017. His career path has kept him consistently in the French pyramid, giving him familiarity with the level and opponents he will face at Colmar.

In addition to his league experience, Mohamed has featured in five Coupe de France matches, further underlining his exposure to national competition. His track record as a defensive midfielder is defined more by minutes and reliability than goals, with two recorded assists in National 2.
