Ibrahim El Nagaawy is being linked with a move from Ismaily to Slavia Praha, with the switch currently rated at a 65% probability according to transfer data.
The 17-year-old right winger, who plays in the Egyptian Premier League for Ismaily, is the subject of mounting speculation over a transfer to the Czech club, who compete in the country’s top flight. Data from Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €150,000, a relatively modest figure that could appeal to Slavia as they look for emerging attacking talent at a manageable cost.
El Nagaawy is under contract at Ismaily, but there is no publicly available expiry date, raising the possibility that he could either be secured for a low fee or, in time, move on a free should talks over a deal or an extension stall. For now, the interest remains at rumour stage, with no agreement reported between the clubs.
Born in Ismailia on 23 August 2008, El Nagaawy has risen through the ranks at his hometown side. He moved from Ismaily SC Youth to the senior Ismaily SC set-up ahead of the 2025–26 season and is listed primarily as an attacking right winger, offering width and pace from the flank. Standing at 1.79m, the Egyptian youth prospect is already considered one of the more promising wide players in Ismaily’s system.
All of El Nagaawy’s senior experience to date has come in Egypt’s Premier League with Ismaily, and there are no recorded previous clubs outside the Ismaily structure. The Egyptian is therefore yet to test himself in European competition, something a move to Slavia Praha could provide if the transfer materialises.
Should the proposed switch go through, a step into Czech football at such a young age could be a pivotal moment in El Nagaawy’s career, potentially accelerating his development and raising his profile well beyond the Egyptian game.
