Ibra Sow has signed a contract extension with Sevilla FC that will keep him at the club until June 2029, as the La Liga side continue their focus on developing young talent.

The agreement adds three more years to his previous deal and reflects Sevilla’s commitment to retaining promising players emerging from their academy system.

Sow, who is of Senegalese origin, has been with the club since a young age and has progressed through the youth ranks in Andalusia.

Now approaching his final year in the youth structure, the forward is expected to take the next step in his development as he continues to work towards establishing himself at senior level.

This season, Sow has made 26 official appearances across all competitions, accumulating 1,166 minutes of playing time.

During that period, he has scored once and provided one assist, contributing steadily as he gains more experience in competitive fixtures.

In the previous campaign, he featured 32 times and also registered a goal, further underlining his gradual integration into the club’s wider setup.

Much of his development has taken place with Sevilla’s reserve team, where he has been a regular presence over recent seasons.

The club view the extension as part of their wider strategy to secure continuity within their youth development programme, ensuring that emerging players remain within the system as they progress towards senior football.

For Sow, the new contract represents both a reward for his progress and a vote of confidence in his potential.

It also provides stability as he continues to develop his game within a structured environment.

Sevilla will now look to support his transition into higher levels of competition in the coming seasons, as he aims to build on his experience and further establish himself within the club’s long-term plans.
